Head of International School Groups

GL Education are looking for a Head of International School Groups to join our International team. As part of the team you will lead, grow and sustain high value and retention sales with International School Groups (ISGs).

The Role:

  • Undertake a strategic review of GL’s current Groups business identify and prioritise opportunities globally 
  • Capitalise on market opportunities to win and secure new ISG Business. 
  • Drive sales of GL’s products to ISGs through a combination of retention, cross sell and new business
  • Achieve high customer retention by delivering top class after sales support
  • Use commercial and financial data to identify ISGs’ opportunities within ISG’s 
  • Lead discussions with ISG’s at corporate level to promote the use of GL products
  • Contribute well-evidenced views of current and future customer and market requirements to product plans
  • Support the International Director and leadership team to lead and develop a result orientated and ambitious team to meet and exceed targets
  • Be an ISG ambassador for GL Education, speaking at events as and when required
  • Build a strong knowledge of assessment and how it can be used to support teachers and students

  • Proven ability to uses financial and commercial information along with groups’ insight to build the ISG strategy
  • Innovative: will continually assess the market for new ideas and solutions
  • Competitive, tenacious and enthusiastic – drives to achieves results 
  • Be passionate about education and GLE’s contribution to it, and have an empathy for educators
  • Adjusts communication content and style to meet the needs of diverse stakeholders
  • Uses customer insight to guide the development of new offerings to consistently exceed school groups’ expectations
  • Able to communicate effectively, present, influence and negotiate at all levels
  • Successful track record of building relationships with schools/groups

Location: Brentford 

Hours: Permanent Full time, 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 per annum
