Assessment Excellence Programme

A growing number of schools are partnering with us through our Assessment Excellence Programme to deliver a 'whole-student' approach to assessment.

Partner Schools will use our assessments to gain a complete understanding of each individual learner’s needs including attitude, ability and attainment. This allows teachers to make informed teaching and learning decisions and to track progress effectively over time. It also provides evidence of progress to accreditation bodies and key stakeholders such as parents, school boards and school owners.

Why become a Partner School?

We work very closely with Partner Schools that support our vision to gain a complete understanding of each individual learner’s needs. Our bespoke partnerships ensure that we deliver the greatest possible outcomes for our Partner Schools, other schools and their students. We would like to

  • Give you recognition for your excellent use of data,
  • Give you the opportunity to become a local expert, supporting schools in your region,
  • Give you the opportunity to provide feedback on assessments, potentially influencing the future direction they take,
  • Provide access to online and regional training events to help support your development.

We invite you to join this network to share experiences and learn from others, and support schools in your region to develop good assessment practice that can contribute to raising education standards. You can work with us to support the delivery of events and workshops, provide case studies and testimonials, and contribute to research and development at GL Education depending on the level of support you are able to provide. Read more about our current Partner Schools.

Partnership options

You will be a user of at least one GL core assessment

You will be a user of at least two complementary (e.g. CAT4 + PT or CAT4 + PASS) assessments

You will be using assessments to triangulate data (e.g. CAT4 + PT + NGRT + PASS)
You will have been using GL data for at least one year

You will have been using GL data for at least one year

You will have been using GL data for a number of years
You have an Assessment Lead responsible for GL data You have an Assessment Lead responsible for GL data You have an Assessment Lead responsible for GL data

Willingness to embed GL data further into leadership practice

You are able to provide a venue for at least 20 attendees, including IT requirements and refreshments

Partnership benefits

Below are some of the exclusive benefits which are available to our Partner Schools:

  1. Promote your school as a Partner School. We provide a GL Education Partner School certificate to display in your school, and a logo that you can include in your signatures or for letter-headed paper.
  2. Increase your local visibility. For certain levels of partnership, we will list you as a customer referee. You will have the opportunity to provide support to local schools who may be new to our assessments (agreed reasonable number only and with notice)
  3. Face-to-face/online training and support. You could be eligible for a number of free places on our online/in-person events and training.
  4. Online guidance and support modules (unlimited use). Accessible on our website, where you can find key guidance and training on the use of core products and interpretation of associated data.
  5. Contribute to research and development at GL Education. Participate in customer focus groups to help drive the future direction our assessments take.
