This session will be exploring the importance of using wellbeing data to support students’ attainment.
It will explore the importance of using PASS Pupil Attitude to Self and School Wellbeing Survey as an invaluable tool to understand students beyond their academic achievements. By assessing students’ attitudes and wellbeing, schools can create a more nurturing and supportive environment leading to improved academic outcomes and happier students.
Please note, this seminar is aimed at those who do not currently use PASS.
This seminar will cover:
- An introduction to the PASS wellbeing survey and how this can be used to assess student attitudes towards themselves and school
- How to use wellbeing data alongside attainment and ability data to provide a holistic view of students and enable targeted support
- Understanding the key features and benefits of the PASS survey, including revealing unseen support needs.
Using PASS data at Swiss International Scientific School, Dubai
As well as the content above, we'll be joined by Mark Swaine (Student Wellness, Transition Lead & Learning Coordinator at Swiss International Scientific School, Dubai) for an explanation on how PASS data is used at SISD. He will take listeners through the process of how they identify their 'fragile learners', and how they create personalised support strategies for their teachers to use, to best support these students to flourish.
