The Progress Test in Maths provides a practical, reliable and independent snapshot of a student’s maths attainment. Ideal as a baseline assessment, it provides an accurate assessment of students’ mathematical content knowledge and understanding, and their application of mathematical processes. It can be used twice a year to measure in-year progress as well as year-on-year progress.
Use the Progress Test in Maths alongside Progress Tests in English and Progress Test in Science for a consistent approach across core subjects, as well as providing you with information that deepens your understanding of your students when used with CAT4. Question-by-question analysis helps you to understand current levels of attainment, identify any gaps in learning at both an individual and cohort level, and identify next steps for learning and support.
The Progress Test in Maths provides a consistent attainment measure. Standardised on over 45,000 children, with regularly verified benchmarks, it will show whether each student is at, below or above the expected level, and will allow you to reliably confirm the accuracy of your own internal assessments, too.
Detailed reports provide a question-by-question breakdown to help you identify those students who may need extra support, and in which areas, building on what your CAT4 and other assessment data is telling you.
Use alongside Progress Test in English and Progress Test in Science to ensure a consistent approach and secure understanding across core subjects.
Seamlessly compare a student’s ability and potential with their current attainment using Combination Reports that integrate your Progress Test in Maths and CAT4 data. This helps you easily identify students who are under-achieving, meeting or exceeding expectations.
The digital version of Progress Test in Maths saves you marking time by providing instant results with no need for data-crunching, and analysis that you can act on straight away.
Obtain a reliable baseline of attainment of your new students’ mathematical content knowledge and understanding, and their application of mathematical processes.
