Over the last year, schools around the world have had to adapt to new ways of teaching and learning in response to the global pandemic. The question for everyone is how did children cope?
This report provides our findings so far of the impact of the pandemic on students’ reading ability. The report is based on analysis of results from the New Group Reading Test (NGRT) and the Pupil Attitudes to Self and School (PASS) measure, which looks at student attitudes upon their return to school.
The report includes case studies from two international schools detailing their experience and what worked for them as they faced the challenge of the last 12 months.
