Lucid Recall is made up of three sub-tests that assess the fundamental functions of working memory: Phonological loop – a word recall test, Visuo-Spatial Sketchpad  a pattern recall test, and Central Executive Function – a counting recall test. 

Immediate results mean you can instantly evaluate how each student’s working memory compares with expected levels for their age, based on nationally standardised norms. The teacher manual contains practical advice and strategies that show you how to identify and support children with various types of working memory difficulty.  

Maths teachers may find this assessment particularly useful, as working memory is important for mathematical fluency.
