When a student is working below expectations it is important that teachers rapidly build up a picture of any learning difficulties they may be experiencing in order to inform timely and effective interventions.
The award-winning Special Educational Needs Assessment Toolkit (SENAT) provides schools with the basic tools to identify the difficulty, suggest appropriate interventions and measure the outcome.
Available in primary, secondary and all-through versions, SENAT enables you to assess the following key areas of SEN: dyslexia, literacy, reading, numeracy, working memory, mental health and wellbeing. Many of the assessments can be administered by non-specialist teachers, reducing the burden on the SEN department.
