UAE Assessment Data Series, May 2026
Join Renaissance Education Advisors Emmeline Curtis and Emily Efstathiou for a practical three-part webinar series designed for UAE schools already using PASS, CAT4, and NGRT.
Each session will focus on helping educators move beyond reports and scores to make assessment data more meaningful in everyday school practice.
Across the series, we will explore how to interpret key insights, connect findings to teaching and support strategies, and use data more confidently to understand learners, remove barriers, and guide next steps.
Each webinar also features a guest speaker from a UAE school sharing how they are using these tools in real school contexts to support better decisions and better outcomes for students.
PASS Training – Making PASS meaningful: turning insight into action
Tuesday, 5 May, 2026, 12 pm GST`
This practical webinar will help schools make more meaningful use of PASS data by turning insight into informed action. The session will explore how to interpret student attitudes to self and school, and how these insights can support a better understanding of classroom behaviours and potential barriers to learning.
Attendees will also look at how to use the online PASS Interventions Toolkit to support next steps, and how combining PASS with CAT4 can help identify Fragile Learners and build a fuller picture of the factors affecting student progress. The webinar will be presented by our Education Advisors, and will feature a guest contribution from Vanessa Moise, Assistant Principal at GEMS National School Al Barsha, who will share how PASS is being used in a UAE school to support students and guide meaningful action.

Attendees will look at a range of student profiles and consider how CAT4 can support more informed planning, more personalised teaching approaches, and a stronger understanding of how students learn. The webinar will be presented by our Education Advisors, and will also feature Amanda Archbald, Head of EAL at Brighton College Abu Dhabi, who will share her experience of using CAT4 data in school to better understand learners and support their progress.

NGRT Training – Unlocking the power of NGRT
Thursday 21 May 2026, 12 pm GST
This practical webinar is designed to help schools use the New Group Reading Test (NGRT) data more effectively to support reading development. The session will focus on how to interpret NGRT results in a way that gives educators a clearer understanding of students’ strengths and areas for development, rather than relying on an overall score alone.
Attendees will also explore how to use the Reading Support Pathway alongside classroom strategies that can help strengthen reading skills. The webinar will be presented by our Education Advisors, and will include a guest contribution from Victoria Kemi Oluyinka, SENCo at Royal Grammar School Guildford Dubai, who will share how NGRT data is used in her school from an inclusion perspective to better understand need and support learners.
