Strategies for Learning

Hosted Date

Leading international schools around the world are using the unique profile of students’ developed abilities provided by the Cognitive Abilities Test (CAT4) to inform their teaching and learning, ensuring the very best academic outcomes for their students.

The new Strategies for Learning guide takes different CAT4 student profiles, describes how these characteristics might look in the classroom, and demonstrates how and when teachers can use established techniques including scaffolding, modelling and group work to help these students to perform to the best of their ability.

In this webinar, Neil MacRae, author of the guide, will outline some key strategies for learning, describing the relationship between the CAT4 data and these teaching strategies. He will also outline how schools can use these resources to support and inform teaching within their school
