Scott Van Der Linden
EVP, Managing Director
Scott is the Managing Director of Renaissance Global, overseeing all UK and international operations.
Scott leads the organisation’s global strategy, working closely with leadership teams across markets to ensure Renaissance delivers impactful assessment, data, and learning solutions to educators and students worldwide. He focuses on strengthening Renaissance’s presence in key markets, identifying new opportunities for growth, and supporting schools and school groups with the tools they need to accelerate personalised learning.
Scott joined Renaissance in 2022 and brings over a decade of experience leading operational teams in strategy, M&A and corporate development. Previously, as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Wind River Environmental, he oversaw strategy, acquisitions and integration. His earlier roles include Vice President of Corporate Development and M&A at Cayan, Private Equity Associate at Providence Equity Partners, and he began his career in Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and history from Brown University, where he also played varsity hockey, and has been active in volunteer initiatives including Big Brother Big Sister and New York Cares.
